Ingredients for Hot chicken sandwich

  •  30 ml olive oil
  •  500 g chicken fillet
  •  5 g salt
  • 3 g garlic powder
  •  3 g onion powder
  •  3 g paprika powder
  • 3 g ras el hanout
  •  1.5 g dried parsley
  •  85 g red pointed pepper
  • 40 g ketjap manis
  • 75 g red onion
  •  30 g green olives
  •  225 g potatoes
  •  25 g sambal oelek

This hot chicken sandwich is a delicious quick fix for weekdays! It is quick and easy to prepare, perfect to satisfy your cravings, and the ideal solution for busy days!

01. Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes. Bring water to the boil in a pan and add the potatoes. Cook them for about 15-20 minutes. Drain the water and let the potatoes drain.

02. Peel the red onion and cut it into pieces. Also cut the pointed pepper into pieces and the olives into slices.

03. Wash the chicken and cut it into cubes. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces, together with a pinch of salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika powder, ras el hanout and dried parsley. Mix everything well and fry for 2-3 minutes.

04. Then add the red pointed pepper, red onion and green olives. Mix everything together well. Finally, add the potato cubes and fry for another 3 minutes.

05. Stir the ketjap manis and sambal through the mixture, so that everything is well mixed.

06. Remove the pan from the heat and add the grated cheese. Mix everything together well so that the cheese melts and spreads over the frying pan.

Tips

– Add salt to taste. 

– Use leftover vegetables that you still have in the refrigerator. 

– If you like extra spice, you can add more sambal. 

– Serve the hot chicken with bread that you like.
